What is topical in the blue bioeconomy right now? How will the key project proceed in spring 2019? The key project event on the blue bioeconomy brings together project implementers and people who are interested in new solutions and innovations.

The event is part of the implementation of the national development plan on the blue bioeconomy, with total funding of EUR 5 million. Several projects on the blue bioeconomy have been funded under this Government key project. The topics range from the utilisation of nutrients and energy to new service concepts for water tourism, internationalisation of the water sector and digitalisation. Measures of the key project have also been promoted through other funding; e.g. innovation programmes for fisheries have received financial support from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.

Venue: Pressiaula, Kanavakatu 3 C, Helsinki, Finland
