OECD

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is a forum for collaboration between developed market economies. Finland has been a member of the organisation since 1969. The analytical work and discussions carried out in the OECD provide a foundation for policy-making in Finland. External expert evaluations produce insights into how Finland’s policies and administrative structures could be further developed in different sectors. In OECD analyses and monitoring reports, Finland is discussed as part of the EU, and the European Commission often plays a key role in OECD meetings.
