Impacts of the SOTKA project to be studied

The SOTKA project includes the follow-up of the impact and cost-effectiveness of the measures.

Monitoring the impacts and cost-effectiveness is important in all sites included in the project. E.g. counting points for waterfowl should be set up in wetlands already before the restoration is started.

Studies are conducted by the Natural Resources Institute Finland, University of Helsinki, University of Turku and Finnish Museum of Natural History.
