Teppo Säkkinen appointed as Special Adviser to Minister Leppä
Mr Teppo Säkkinen, Bachelor of Social Sciences, has been appointed to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to serve as Special Adviser to Minister Jari Leppä as from 21 May.
Säkkinen is 27 years old, comes from Rovaniemi, and has studied leadership at the University of Lapland. At the ministry he will be responsible for the natural resources sector.
Before this Säkkinen has worked in various development cooperation organisations and as parliamentary assistant and journalist, and has chaired the Union of Upper Secondary School Students and the Finnish Centre Youth.
Risto Lahti continues as the Special Adviser to the Minister responsible for food and foodstuffs.
