Project description

Duration: 2022-2024

The main goal for the project is to test and develop estimation of dead wood. Multispectral airborne lidar and open lidar from KALLIO program are the main two datasets that will be used to estimate the amount of dead wood. As a result of the project, we gain new knowledge about the estimation accuracy of standing and ground dead wood and identify the main sources of errors in the estimation process.
