Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change Call for proposals

The call for proposals under the NordForsk programme Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change.

Available budget is approx. NOK 60 million and the call deadline is 19 May 2022. Funders from Finland are the Academy of Finland and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MMM) 

The funding institutes have identified four thematic areas of the Programme:

  1. Plants adapted for future Nordic and Baltic conditions  
  2. Increased local and regional protein production for food and feed  
  3. Plants and soil as a carbon sink (MMM will not fund Finnish partners on this topic due to our Catch the Carbon programme)
  4. Transformation towards climate-smart and profitable local and regional agriculture
